ENTRY 7: SEX FM
SEX FM was an internet radio station run by Julian Noodle (DJ Tolerant) Sam Waitin (DJ WIWACCWWIDW) DJ Sprite (I forgot who lol) and Derek (Derek)
It originally started as a fun demo of one of the features of pacific drive, which allows you to connect the game to internet radio stations, but quickly ballooned out of proportion. the station ceased operation on 2/18/25, because it was so popular that even with a patreon, the dj's could not afford to run it!
I fucken love sexfm. by the time i could have listened in live, it was too late, but thanks to the impressive archival done by community members (and noodle himself) you can still listen and get a hint of the shitpost. this radio station, to put it bluntly, sounds like it actively despises *you personally* for listening. there is a 20 minute long segment where the dj's all cream their jeans over will smith's mediocre rap song, restarting the entire song several times over with extreme pregiduce. there is gangsta's paradise but it gets more and more distorted as time goes on. much like how Japanese water torture wakes you up every minute before you can sleep, this radio station splices perfectly normal, bumping EDM music with insano style bullshit, specifically for the express purpose of fucking with as many people as it can. it's so good.
my personal favorite dj is WIWACCWWIDW, or Well Informed White and Class Conscious Whining What-It-Do Walk. if not for the name, then for the polite bullshit, and the boxes. (iykyk) DJ tolerant exists in a constant state of being slightly pissed off, and sometimes engages wiwacc in a sort of 'my parents are arguing in the other room' simulation, while the music just continues going in the background. I don't know what sprite was like (due to not having his own archival tape). he seems niceys. Derek.
